VTX Macro Adds $100 Referral Rewards and Optional Server Mode Backup
Sharing VTX Macro now comes with a thank-you for both people. When someone signs up through your referral link and completes their first successful prompt, you both receive $100 in Server Mode credits. That prompt can run in either Client Mode or Server Mode. No purchase or trade is required.
Client Mode remains free, forever. Server Mode is optional, and the referral credits are a bonus you can use if you choose it. They cover Server Mode fees; they are not cash or trading funds.
Your Referrals page gives you a short vtx.run/code link with a randomly generated, readable code. You can customize it directly within the link, independently of your trading profile names. Previously shared links keep working after a change.
Visitors land on the VTX Macro homepage, with their referral remembered while they explore. Signup shows the referral and explains how to qualify for the credits. Back on your dashboard, you can track referred signups, people awaiting their first prompt, completed referrals, and credits earned. The public Referrals page also has its own sharing thumbnail.
For people running profiles in Client Mode, Server Mode Backup adds an optional fallback on the System page. Enable it for a profile, and VTX can temporarily take over an already-running Assistant or Trader when its client host becomes unavailable. Once a client is ready to resume, execution returns to Client Mode. A bot you explicitly stop stays stopped.
Backup is off by default. Enabling it checks that the required credentials are available on the server and explains anything missing without automatically turning on key syncing. Normal Server Mode fees, credit requirements, and model capacity limits still apply—including the existing five-bot limit for free Google Server Mode models. Enabling backup does not reserve a slot, and takeover waits for client ownership to expire and a grace period.
The toggle stays blue while backup is enabled and standing by, then turns purple while backup is actively running. Runtime indicators follow the same Server Mode color convention, while the profile’s Client/Server selector stays on Client.
Navigation now reflects what each page controls. Account and informational pages such as Referrals, Billing, Insights, and Help no longer show a profile selector. Pages with profile-specific actions retain it, including Leaderboard. Your selected profile is remembered when you return, and navigation consistently highlights the page you are viewing.
