Smarter Risk Guardrails and More Reliable Analysis Follow-Ups

Risk controls now target the right actions

Performance limits, economic events, market headlines, and position-capacity rules no longer imply that an existing position should be closed automatically.

The AI now distinguishes between:

  • Restricting new positions, additions, or reversals.
  • Managing an existing position according to its thesis, configured exits, market structure, and position-specific risk.
  • Treating news and calendar events as context rather than automatic trade signals.

Hard loss-count restrictions also remain active while the configured threshold is breached, rather than being relaxed simply because a new setup appears.

Independent Market Regime controls

Min Trend (ADX), Max Chop Index, and Min ATR % now each have their own Soft or Hard enforcement setting. This allows stricter control over one market condition without applying the same posture to the entire Market Regime panel.

Existing saved settings are carried forward automatically, and analysis snapshots now show the enforcement mode used by each guardrail.

Better timeframe-aware guidance

Market Regime warnings now stay scoped to the timeframe that triggered them. Weak conditions on one interval no longer automatically invalidate positions or setups supported by other active timeframes.

Analysis conversations stay with the correct profile

Follow-up questions, resets, and locally generated responses on an analysis page now remain connected to the profile that owns the original decision—even if the active profile changes while the page is open.

Safer trading-symbol updates

When removing a trading symbol from a client-mode profile, VTX now checks current public wallet positions first. The change proceeds when no position exists, remains blocked when the asset is still open, and fails safely when position status cannot be verified.
