Smarter Patience & Self-Discipline

1. Context-Aware Trading Behavior

The AI has gained a new layer of "memory" regarding its own specific actions on every asset. Instead of looking at price action in a vacuum, it now considers:

  • Patience on Entry: It tracks exactly how long it has been since it last touched a position. If it just entered a trade seconds ago, it is now programmed to pause and let the trade settle rather than nervously reacting to immediate noise.
  • Commitment to Strategy: The AI now recognizes "young" positions and is guarded against "flipping" direction too quickly, forcing it to stick to its conviction for longer periods.
  • Disciplined Scaling: When adding to a winning or losing position, the AI now weighs how many times it has already "doubled down." It requires significantly higher conviction to add a 3rd or 4th time, preventing it from over-exposing the account to a single trade.

2. Enhanced Risk Controls

We have refined how the AI interprets account health limits. It now has a clearer understanding of the difference between Available Buying Power and Liquidation Risk. This means:

  • It won't be overly conservative when you have plenty of safety buffer, even if your buying power is low.
  • It strictly respects "Global Capacity" limits, effectively switching itself into a "Close-Only" mode when the maximum number of allowed trades is reached, ensuring it focuses purely on managing existing risk rather than hunting for new setups.

3. Optimized Decision Making

The underlying logic that feeds market data to the AI has been restructured. By separating "hard data" (prices, balances) from "strategic instructions" more clearly, we've reduced the chance of the AI getting confused by complex scenarios. This results in more consistent, rule-abiding behavior, especially during high-volatility events.
