Feature Update: Enhanced Position Sizing & Risk Controls

Published on 2026-02-11 06:56:57

🎯 Precision Position Management

We have decoupled the AI's trade sizing from global defaults to offer true strategic flexibility.

  • New Unit Size Control: You can now set the exact dollar value for a single trade unit directly in the AI Settings dashboard. The new slider allows for precise sizing ranging from $15 to $2,000 per unit.
  • Clearer Terminology: To better reflect how the bot constructs positions, we have renamed "Max Trades" to "Max Units". This change aligns the interface with the strategy's logic:
    • Max Units (Global): The total capacity limit across your entire portfolio.
    • Max Units Per Asset: The scale-in limit for any single asset, allowing you to define exactly how large a position can grow.
    • Max Units Per Prompt: Controls how aggressively the AI can enter or exit in a single execution cycle.

🛡️ Upgraded Safety Guardrails

This update reinforces our risk management protocols to ensure stability during high volatility.

  • Leverage Safety Caps: We have introduced strict validation for leverage settings. The system now enforces a hard cap of 40x leverage on Hyperliquid, preventing configuration errors that could lead to rejected orders.
  • New UI Controls: A dedicated "Max Leverage" slider is now available in your settings, allowing you to define a portfolio-wide safety ceiling that the AI will never exceed.

💓 Stability & Performance

Under the hood, we’ve improved the engine's resilience.

  • Active Health Monitoring: The trading worker now features an improved heartbeat mechanism that communicates directly with the orchestration layer. This ensures that if a strategy ever stalls or becomes unresponsive, the system can detect and restart it immediately—minimizing downtime without user intervention.
  • Seamless Migration: Intelligent fallback logic ensures that your existing configurations will continue to work seamlessly, automatically mapping your legacy settings to the new, more precise controls.
